CancerCrusher Club was launched at Fairfield University in 2009.
For our initial event, the club helped raise funds for pediatric cancer patients at Connecticut Children’s Hospital in Hartford, Connecticut.
We hosted the first annual CancerCrusher Hoedown on October 1st, 2011 to benefit Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
Our 2nd annual CancerCrusher Hoedown to benefit Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.
Both Hoedowns at Fairfield University, were wildly successful! Over 125 people attended, including fellow students, professors, volunteers and administration, all enthusiastically supporting our initiative.
In addition, we have have worked with the CT Challenge and Rondald McDonald house on various events and volunteer opportunities.
